Terms and conditions of booking

Booking deposit

A non-refundable deposit of £100.00 for a weekly booking must be made to confirm the reservation. No booking is binding until confirmed in writing with the deposit.

Payment

Balance of payment must be paid at least 1 month before arrival.
Last minute and short stays are payable in full on booking.
Sorry, we do not accept credit cards.
Payment to be made by cheque or bank transfer, details will be given on receipt of booking.

Arrivals and departures

Arrivals are from 4.00 p.m. (or earlier if we can arrange it) please state estimated arrival time when booking.
Cottages must be vacated by 10.00a.m. on the day of departure.
Arrival dates can be flexible at off-peak times, as we own and run the accommodation personally. If you want a specific start day, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Cancellation

Please inform us immediately (by email and in writing) if you have to cancel your booking. If we are able to re-let the cottage for the same period, your money will be repaid less the £100.00 deposit. If we are unable to re-let the cottage, you will be liable for the full rent.
If, for any reason beyond our control the property becomes unavailable for the dates of your holiday, all charges will be refunded in full and the hirer shall then have no further claim against the owner.
If, in the opinion of the owner, any person is deemed not suitable to continue their occupation of the property, the contract may be discharged and the owner may repossess the property immediately. The hirer will remain liable for the whole cost of the hire and no refund will be given.

Occupancy conditions

Each cottage has a maximum occupancy of four people.
The number of people staying in the accommodation must not exceed the number on the booking form.
Breakages/damages must be paid for.
The accommodation must be left in a clean and tidy condition.

Conditions and responsibilities

Bookings by persons under 21 years are not accepted.
The owner can take no responsibility for personal injury or damage to personal property.
Parents of children are responsible for their safety at all times.
All linen is provided and beds will be made up prior to arrival.
Electric, heating and Wi-Fi are included in the price.
Both cottages and their surroundings are completely NON-SMOKING.
Candles/tea lights and open flames are STRICTLY PROHIBITED inside our cottages.
NO PETS are allowed with the exception of assistance dogs.

Coronavirus booking guarantee

Any booking affected by government travel restrictions will receive a full refund, or the choice to re-book on a like-for-like basis for up to 12 months.
